Draft · updated 1 October 2026
Who may use Freelance CV Builder
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to create an account. The service is for your own professional CVs and work history. Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in credentials.
Your information and content
You remain responsible for the CV content and project information you submit, including making sure you have permission to use details about clients or other people. You retain your rights in the material you provide. You give Freelance CV Builder permission to host, process, display and export it only as needed to operate and support the service, as described in the Privacy Notice.
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, upload information you are not authorised to use, interfere with the service or attempt unauthorised access.
AI-assisted drafts
When you request project-bullet suggestions, the project name, client name, selected tone and rough notes for that request are processed through Replit AI Integrations and Anthropic’s Claude model. Suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a guarantee of employment, income, selection or any particular result. Check every draft for accuracy, confidentiality and suitability before using it.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval and price shown when you subscribe. Stripe processes subscription payments. You can cancel through Settings; cancellation stops the next renewal, and paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. This does not limit any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. If billing terms or prices change, the change will be presented as required by law before it applies to you.
Availability and account closure
We aim to keep Freelance CV Builder available and your saved work accessible, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Keep your own copy of important work using the export feature. You may delete your account in Settings; account deletion also closes associated saved work and may cancel an active subscription.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements. We will give notice where practical and legally permitted.
Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, the service is provided for your personal professional use and is not legal, tax, recruitment or financial advice.
Any limitation of liability in the final agreement must be reviewed for fairness and enforceability under the law that applies to the user.

Governing law
[CONFIRM BEFORE LAUNCH: England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland] law and courts are intended to govern these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. “UK” alone does not identify the governing jurisdiction, so this choice must be completed before publication.
